What’s on our minds for the fall season?
Since we are unsure of where these pandemic times are going to take us to the end of the season, we have been brainstorming ideas to be able to provide services after the golf season is over and the white blanket bestowes upon us.
Are buffets going to be in or out? Are gatherings going to exceed 100 people indoors? How can I celebrate the holiday season with my loved ones? These are questions I am sure several of the members are having. Below are some ideas that we are developing in order to answer some of those questions you may have. Will they all need to come to fruition? We’ll have to wait and see.
Thanksgiving will soon be upon us and we may have to re-think how we are going to provide that perfect thanksgiving dinner for the membership. The past years have been elaborate buffets and full dining rooms, this may not be an option this year.
We are working on developing a menu and a system that will provide membership with a “Thanksgiving Dinner To Go” that will be available for curbside pick-up. More to come on this should the need arise.
This menu will include Thanksgiving favorites such as,
Butternut Squash Salad
St Charles Crab Salad
Whole Roasted Turkey (pre-sliced upon request)
Herb Stuffing, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce
Butter Whipped Potatoes
Roasted Vegetable Medley
Rolls and Butter
Twelve Days of Christmas Dinners
Another concept is the “Twelve Days of Christmas Dinners”. Members and guests will be able to come out to the club to experience a four course choice dinner, holiday themed of course. Tentative dates for these will be December 2-5, 9-12, 16-19. These dinners will have a limited RSVP.

Mixed Greens Salad with Spicy Pecans, Dried Cranberry and Goat Cheese Snow with Balsamic Dressing
Slow Roasted Turkey with Stuffing and Gravy
6oz CAB Tenderloin with Red Wine Jus
Carved prime Rib au jus with Yorkshire Pudding
Maple-cinnamon Brushed Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Orange Beurre Blanc
Entrees served with butter whipped potatoes and vegetable medley
Pumpkin Cheesecake with Chantilly Cream, Anglaise and Berries
